Drive about 100 miles to the southeast from Walt Disney World to the Atlantic Coast to visit Disney’s first Resort without an accompanying Theme Park. Opened in 1995, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is part of the Disney Vacation Club (“DVC”) — Disney’s version of vacation “timeshare” ownership. Here are photos and video from December 30, 2002.
