Disney Dream: Bahamas Cruise to both of Disney’s private destinations, April 3-7, 2025

This is a personal look back at a four-night Bahamas cruise aboard the Disney Dream, sailing round trip from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The itinerary:

Day 1: Embarkation and sail away from Port Everglades
Day 2: Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Eleuthera, The Bahamas
Day 3: Disney Castaway Cay, Abaco, The Bahamas
Day 4: A day at sea
Day 5: Debarkation at Port Everglades

I was invited and hosted by Disney Cruise Line for this voyage, and I posted coverage of the cruise at the time on MousePlanet’s social media. More than a year and a half later, this video is something different. It’s a personal edit of some of my favorite sights from the trip. It includes the glass-bottom boat excursion at Castaway Cay, which I booked and paid for myself.

It isn’t a full guide to the ship. It doesn’t cover the kids clubs Disney Cruise Line is known for, The District (the adult nighttime area), or most of the dining venues and meals. It’s simply the moments I most wanted to remember: the sail-away party, the ship’s spaces, Lookout Cay’s beaches and historic lighthouse, Castaway Cay, Pirate Night fireworks, and a quiet day at sea.
